MY BACKGROUND

Hi! My name is Long Tieu and I am a first year System Design Engineering student at University of Waterloo. I mostly work on programming using various platforms and languages, and sometimes handling level design or pixel animation. As such, learning never stops and I am a person who can adapt to new tools and large code base any place offers in no time. As a developer, I am passionate about bringing any dream game to life, from start to release.

About this game

Sometimes, you cannot just live being a good guy on the street, but it ain’t easy to get into trouble either! Your job is to sell “products”, and maybe make sure no one catches you. This game is a submission for itch.io Weekly Game Jam. It is coded using Unity and C#, and other libraries such as Zenject, TextMeshPro and such to improve the performance and the UI layout.

Tempest Remake

About this game

This is a remake of the game called Tempest 1981 with additional features using OpenGL and Glut. This project is used for the Ubisoft Next 2020 Submission.

Augmented Reality Convenience App

About this project

This is an Augmented Reality convenience application, which helps with basic activities for the day. The application allows user to check the current time and weather in Toronto and this information will be showed in the form of 3D models appearing above the image target. Another special feature for this application voice-controlled alarm system, which you can tell a basic command to make the alarm turn off.
